San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Really great cafe serving Cuban pastries. Line was out the door the entire time. Recommend the cafe con leche!

We stayed in OB for 3 days and went there twice. We tried the guava & cheese, the cubano, and the rhubarb pastries. The cubano was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life. The dough was so flaky and sweet and the pork inside was super tender and flavorful. I went back the second time just to get it again before I left town. Coffee was good as well, I had the dulce de leche latte with almond milk and my mom got some kind of mocha. 5/5 stars. I will be dreaming about the cubano pastry for the rest of my life, always chasing that high.

Loved this place! Amazing pastries (and savory items too). The staff were super friendly. Great selection of decadent treats & coffees. I had a pastry stuffed with pulled pork, cheese & pickles—delicious. I’m wishing I’d gotten some Mojito cookies to go. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great vibes. I highly recommend checking it out.

This place is absolutely worth the wait. I went here 3x this past weekend while visiting from out of town because it was that freaking good and took a ton home on the plane for friends. Every sugary delight in the front window facing display case is fantastic in addition to the Cubano meat pies, the scones, and some of the other pastries on the line side. Cookies are good but wasted calories compared to their other offerings. Absolute favorites: pistachio cherry tea cake, butterscotch bun with cornflake crack, bourbon butterscotch custard with salted caramel, the Divina, Turron, Diablo, and the peach champagne scone.
